Our Core Values & Principles

We are committed to an equitable society - to racial equity, and to the equitable inclusion of all persons, regardless of identity. Our society will not be free until our most vulnerable people can live without fear, discrimination, or retaliation.  We are committed to empowering social transformation for an equitable, anti-racist society.  We do this by moving beyond trainings alone into action in the following ways:Truth telling:  By analyzing power and equity structures, we honestly reveal areas to improve racial equity. Developing Shared Human Dignity:  By engaging in meaningful interactions, sharing personal stories and culture, we begin to recognize ourselves in each other - a shared human dignity.  Through this recognition, we are able to empathize with one another, and to work together toward a common goal of equity through which we al benefit.Developing equitable leaders and organizations:  A core component of an equitable society is equitable organizations and equitable leaders, who drive equity in society.
